Hello and welcome to another episode of NCTV on location. Although I say on-location I’m kindof cheating because I’ve only moved from one room to the next but still, the location, my location, is the reception area Nicholas Coysh Osteopathy & Wellbeing in Sunny Storrington.
So today I wanted to talk to you about the benefits of Epsom Salts, seeing’s I now stock and sell it with other supplement products in my new cabinet here.
So Epsom Salts are made up of the naturally occurring minerals magnesium and sulphate and research suggests that putting a few cupfuls of these in your bath and soaking in them for around 15 minutes is an easy way increase the body’s levels of both magnesium and sulphate.
This helps to support good health in a number of ways. If you were to have a lack of magnesium then this can lead to tiredness and fatigue, poor muscle function, poor bone health and other health issues.
The Sulphate element can help with a number of the essential biological processes, they help to flush out toxins and to form proteins in the joints and brain, for example.
So to summarise, essentially, Epsom Salts are great for balancing magnesium and sulphate in the body, they help with muscle relaxation when it comes to cramps, aches and pains, they’re a great body detoxifier and not only that but the whole process will help to combat the ever increasing tense and stressful lifestyles some people lead.
If you want to get hold of them, I have some available in clinic or you can follow the link on my website to buy them online. Otherwise, they’re usually available in most pharmacies or health food stores.
That’s all for today, see you again next week for some more bitesize bits to help your health flourish. Bye for now.
