Hi there,
Now we’re approaching the official ending of UK COVID lockdown on Monday the 19th July next week, I just wanted to provide an update on what this will mean for you when you’re visiting the clinic here in Storrington.
Essentially, after discussions between the healthcare regulators in the public and private sectors, the outcome of that and the advice for private practice osteopaths such as myself is that little should change in terms of the infection control policies in place.
When it comes to the wearing of masks, Public Health England and the Government recommendations are that our clients or patients are still to wear masks when receiving osteopathic care, unless you’re exempt.
And as for me, I’ll still be wearing all the same PPE as before, that being a mask, apron and gloves.
So to sum it all up, nothing’s really changed for us. I’ll still be providing the same level of deep cleaning and sanitising of myself and all the surfaces. As a result, you can rest assured that all the safety measures are in place to keep as clean an environment as possible to minimise the risk of COVID…or anything else for that matter.
That’s all for now, should anything change, I’ll be sure to let you know.
Take care and I hope you have a great summer!
Bye for now.
